Just arrived back from 3 nights at The Historic Fairfield Inn. My husband and I stayed in the Grumble Jones room. Mattress nice and firm - the floor tilted historically. Breakfast was good and substantial and the staff and owner was extremely friendly and helpful. I took a peak into the other rooms and they all looked really well kept.

Lovely old hotel - full of character. Our room was large, clean and comfortable.We found the food somewhat uninspiring and the bar closed at 9pm.
