Very friendly staff. Go for a room overlooking the river with balcony or terrace. Rooms are very nice with fireplace and flat screen tv. Breakfast is basic. Only protein is the peanut butter. Also have bagels, English muffins, bread, fruit, coffee, tea, juice.

The hotel is right by the river. Our room was on the 2nd floor, had a balcony, 2 chairs and moved the coffee table outside to set our dinner on. We strolled down by the river before we ate. Nice and quiet at night. Mexican restaruant across from the hotel, plus a Subway. 1 hour away from Crater Lake.

We travel with our dog and I have physical challenges. The room that we had here was right on the river, with French doors opening onto a little patio. Clean, front desk very helpful. Older hotel, great water pressure. Stayed on bottom floor had entrance into hotel. Free donuts, coffee, and juice. Beds fair but clean. Close to major super market - had fridge.

I stayed here with a lot of other family members for a family reunion. We all enjoyed the deck that was on the river, under a shade tree, and being able to wave to the passing river runners. Stayed here on our way to Crater Lake. Brilliant location, very clean and comfortable Inn. Didn't eat in the breakfast area, but took trays (coffee, pastries etc) up to our room which was a nice change. Used the on-site laundry. Next morning took a walk along the Rogue River - beautiful! I really enjoyed my stay at the Edgewater Inn. You smell that "clean" smell as soon as you walk in. Well appointed room with an OK firm mattress. Thiny, wimpy, pillows, but able to sleep just fine. Clean & comfortable room, quiet. Good location & nice staff all around the hotel. Would stay again and recommend to others. There was a restaurant next block from the hotel which was helpful for a late dinner without reservation.
