This hotel is beautiful. The lobby reflects years gone by, with marble columns and floors. The hotel was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the suite was very spacious. This hotel may have been built in the last century but it has all the up to date electronics. The hotel is located in downtown Portland yet the room... More

The Embassy Suites has large rooms and a great place to staying in downtown. Just finished my two day stay in Portland and had no complaints. Since I was here last they remodeled the common areas, but the rooms are still the same. The rooms are large and have great views of the area. The restaurant in the hotel is... More

Huge, comfortable rooms...amazing free breakfast with many choices...good location...beautiful hotel...in-room movies...very friendly and helpful employees...yummy and reasonably priced restaurant...paper thin walls room to room...very little hallway noise, but from our room you could hear entire conversations of the people in the next room...

The smiling doormen open the door to the elegance of the early 20th century and we were sincerely welcomed by the charming and beautiful Zannah, the best hotel hostess ever, who my eight year old daughter immediately decided was her friend. The restored brilliance of the hotel makes you think Gatsby may come waltzing out of the elevator with the... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times. I think I stayed in room 625. The room was perect, clean and the bedding great as always. I had room service and it was fast. I have breakfast there, the woman (sorry I dont remember her name) that makes the omelets is great, a smile and fast service. I am a... More

Spent 3 nights there for visiting family and friends....beautiful 100 yr. old fancy hotel in a good section of town. Able to easily walk to shops, parks, riverfront, and restaurants. Chinatown area alittle rundown, but not scary, always felt safe, evenwalking home alone at night. Hotel staff all friendly helpful. If you appreciate classic quality, you will enjoy. Will be back.

I thought the high price was due to the location of the hotel (very close to saturday market area), but expected the rest of the hotel to be up-to-par with the price. The Lobby was beautiful, but the rooms lacked charm and you could tell it was an older hotel. Unconfortable couch/chairs and average bed. The social breakfast/happy hour area... More

Really a lovely hotel in downtown Portland. We spent two nights here and really enjoyed out stay for the most part. Location is spot on - just off the light rail/tram, walking distance to so many things including bars and restaurants, the Saturday market, the river...VooDoo. Tram right is about 40 minutes to the airport, give or take, with no... More

Location: perfect! OK, we were actually looking for a hotel right off of Pioneer Square, just had a few days in Portland, so we wanted to be in the center of it all. But, this worked out better, just 2 (mathematical) blocks to the river, so a great spot for walking, running, reading, relaxing. The neighborhood at night is quite,... More

You will not find a hotel for the price that has everything you need or want----beautiful interior, great valet service. The rooms are spacious and extremely well kept. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic as well as the "happy" hour in the Garden. Don't forget the pool and spa---relaxation at it's best. This hotel rocks---seriously.
