“The reviews are true, great place”

Te hotel is clean, comfortable and cute. The rooms are not super fancy, but decorated nicely. The location is perfect for exploring all Portland has without a car. What truly puts this hotel apart is the service. The staff is excellent and have super recommendations on where to go in the city. More

The attraction to the Kimpton was that we could take our dog. Our older son and his girlfriend were in Portland for a wedding, so our younger son flew in from San Francisco to join us. We purchase a gift certificate for their Romance Package at an auction six years ago for Fifth Avenue Suites. When we called to see if the Monaco would honor it, they said "no problem, it would be our pleasure". Never expected that, but the stay was even more unbelievable. Although we had only seventeen hours in Portland, the room was so nice, the room service so delicious, the decor so inviting and tasteful, that upon our return home we immediately booked our next vacation. Destination; Portland, lodging; the Hotel Monaco! More

We have just discovered the Hotel Monaco in Portland. We stayed in a king suite which had plenty of room, a great bed, comfortable chairs and sofa bed, and was very quiet.
