What a delightful hotel! I find heritage hotels few and far between in the North West but this one was simply idyllic. We had a great stay and didn't mind using the European bathrooms one bit. Location was terrific too.

My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night. The staff was very good, but the walls in the room were "paper thin"! I guess this is one of the best hotels McMinville has to offer but I unfortunately will not be back.

Is the place quirky? Yes, but very enjoyable. Very European type of facility with a great history. I wish the weather had been nicer so I could have enjoyed the outdoor deck on the top floor. A very interesting place to stay. Get a room with en-suite facilities whenever possible. Heating system is old and temperamental works when it fancies it.
