So we chose to stay here to break up the long drive up the coast into WA. This is definitely the park to stay at if you have children. We were delighted to only pay $35 to stay here especially for all the things that are included. (We stayed in April, I'm sure the cost is much higher in peak... More

We have stayed at many KOAs around the country, and actually stayed at this campground once previously. This year when we arrived we had a fast check-in, except they couldn't find our key. I was told that since I was VKR member that my "pass" should have been mailed to me so that I could drive straight to the cabin... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid April and had a pretty good stay. We checked in and were surprised to find out how much the fees added up to, first there is a $6 a night "resort" (yes if you can call it that) charge and we knew that but then there was a pet fee and I... More

From tents, RV's, Cabins, or Lodges, you have a choice in you level of 'camping.' We have done the cabins with no bathrooms (spring break) and tenting in the summer. Both were fun. They have a full size indoor pool which the kids love, bouncing pillow, miniture golf, chess, volley ball, tennis, playgrounds, etc. outside. They have recently added a... More

Stayed here for 1 night in a small cabin (KK9) and had a good time, but it needed some work. The door rubbed on the floor, so it was very difficult to open it all the way. Not sure why they haven't fixed it. For the price, you should expect the door to work correctly. This cabin had no bathroom... More

Stayed for four nights during spring break . We read all the reviews so we had a pretty good idea what to expect. They were right, the wi-fi was spotty and the cable tv didn't work (even though we paid for it) but we didn't mind. The park was pretty full in the area we were in (deluxe hook ups)... More

Stayed for 5 night in deluxe area and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and campground was clean. The kids loved pool, bounce pillow and daily activities. Very close to Ocean (~500m) and used to bike there everyday. Also loved biking in the state park across the street. The onsite restaurant will delivery food to your campsite... More

To start off with, the person at registration circled J 31 on the map and highlighted how to get there, so we backed our camper into it and got all set up just to find out they put somebody else in that spot. We checked our windshield tag and it said K 31 which was on the other side of... More

Because every single state park in Oregon was booked for the end of July, we ended up at this KOA. It's definitely geared towards families so, as a couple, I was worried we'd feel a bit out of place. However, I was pleasantly surprised (and relieved) by the KOA Astoria. The campground has a lot of family-friendly amenities and activities,... More
