We stayed here in a 5th wheel and loved it. The setting is beautiful...surrounded by lush forests on one side and a wide creek that flows directly into the Pacific on the other. There is a short path that leads from the park out to the beach and ocean. All sites are full hookups and some of them have hot... More

We reserved for two nights and ended up staying for a week! Some sites were noisy, if one stayed by Hwy 101 (these could be windy also). However, most sites were peaceful and fantastic! The staff was over-the-top! Valerie, Karen, Donna and Cucina (hope that is spelled correctly!) and "our man about the campus" Skip were just outstanding and wanting... More

Turtle Rock RV Park Review SETTING: Gold Beach, Oregon is in a very remote and isolated area. So there don’t appear to be many tourists visiting it compared to other areas of the Oregon Coast. This isolation provides many plusses and minuses depending on what you are looking for in a vacation. In this town is one RV park that... More

We enjoyed having your group stay with us. They are fun folks! Several of them came into the office to tell us how much they enjoyed our resort. Your wagon master, who is very good at his job, was pleased with us. Some asked about making reservations for future stays. We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy us as much as others... More

This is a gravel road park, sites aren't level & there isn't much of a view even on the creek side. It is too close to the highway to give a 'peaceful' description. It appears there are some long-term renters that aren't the most tidy. The cottage next to us had 3 dogs in it. We won't be back.

After reading the web site and even the reviews (I recognize that people will have different opinions and standards), I booked a spa RV site; I booked a water view site for the friends we were traveling with. The office staff was very nice, but my first clue about this place should have been the dirty gravel road in. The... More

They expect you to pay peak prices, but they lack peak performance! This was the worst place we stayed on our trip. First there was over an extra 100.00 dollars in taxes that was added to our bill that was not disclosed until we got there. I sucked it up and thought we are on the ocean, and we were... More

My wife and I stayed at Turtle Rock resort for a family reunion in August 2012. We stayed in a cottage with her parents. Positives -The campground and cabins were clean. -The campground is very quiet at night. -the resort is right next to the ocean. I would wake up and after running for two minutes I was on the... We were extremely disappointed to find that our spot with the deck and the private hot tub were located right next door to one of the 'cottages' that is obviously occupied by a permanent resident who runs a dog sitting business!! Not only was the place an eyesore and not the least bit romantic to look at, we had to... More

Turtle Rock is one of the best RV resorts we’ve stayed at. It’s located right on Highway 101 with safe access to the beautiful, clean beach by a walkway that goes under the highway. The friendly and helpful staff checked us in and made sure our campsite was ready for us. They have a staff of retired folks who live... More
