$79 for a comfortable and clean room. We were passing through onto another day of exploring Oregon and tripped across this honey of a motel. Don't know what this is like in-season, but great find in October

Stayed the weekend in one of the new lodge rooms, and although they're pet-friendly, they're very clean. My dog and i left it clean too, btw. I enjoyed the big flat screen TV, the vent free fireplace (the only heat source needed on an early spring night), and after a day at Hoodoo, the jetted tub was perfect. Comfortable bed,... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in July 2011. The accomodations were great ~ a large beautiful room ~ very rustic with vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, corner gas fireplace. It was a perfect find! There was a small table/chair setup and a mini kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave and a full bath. Also outside the... More

I decided to take my friend to Detroit Lake Lodge for her birthday. We had been there previously and our friends, Sara and Safford, the management team, were more than welcoming! As always the room was clean, warm and cozy. We became friends with Sara and Safford and found ourselves cooking at night with not only them, but other guests... More

A good value for the journey from Bend back to Portland or the Coast if you need a break. Clean. Forget the Cedars restaurant with rude waitstaff who ignore their customers even when they leave and go to KC's for reakfast.

The Lodge is a sweet little place to stay when you're driving through or spending most of your day at the lake. It's updated and somehow packed with everything you could ever need. If it's not in your room, it's down the street at the store, bar, restaurant or marina. The rooms are tiny, though and the beds are super... More

We stayed at The Lodge at Detroit Lake for three nights last weekend. The rest of our extended family camped at the nearby campsites surrounding the beautiful Detroit Lake in Central Oregon. The area is just stunning with tall stands of pines everywhere you look. The Lodge was everything I hoped for and more. They just completely rebuilt the place... More
