“Good quiet family room.”

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed 4 nights. The room service was good. The Beefeater next door was a little suspect. Had a terrible Steak and the Mushrooms were even worse. Good food near by by way of a new Toby Inn which would be worth a try.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the early May BH. It was a base for visiting Alton Towers which is about 35 minutes away. the rooms were nice, the staff also, breakfast was in the restaurant next door, and not very nice, its in the middle of an industrial estate in branston which isn't very central, (about 3 miles away from central burton in fact) i left and stopped at a small ish hotel in the town centre.

Excellent value and service recommend to anyone. We were a big family party and the hotel was accommodating of all our needs. Nothing was to much trouble all the staff were very professional but also friendly and welcoming.

“Clean well maintained and very friendly.”

A very clean and friendly hotel. The room was well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful.The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and attentive. Another bonus for us was the close proximity of a supermarket and other restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and I am a fussy person.

“Central ....I think not!”

I chose this hotel because it was described as "Central" to find that it is a couple of miles out of town is a bit of a shock. Not really a problem to drivers but if like me you've arrived by train very very annoying. Having said that he room is clean, spacious and very acceptable, just miles from anywhere!
