Friendly, fantastic value and the best breakfast in the world! Sue, the owner, makes everyone so very welcome and ensures that the atmosphere is conducive to a fully relaxing time in this city location. The decor is in the best of taste and the recent refurbishment is top out of the top drawer. In short all the the facilities are... More

Sue was very helpful from the moment I contaced her. On arrival she was extremly welcoming and showed us to our nicely decorated room and en-suite. It helped that we were able to park early in the day and then walk into town. Breakfast was a treat - a good selection of fruit, cereal, nuts etc. and a nicely cooked... More

Myself & my partner stayed here for one night to go to a family wedding nearby. Sue was most helpful from the moment I emailed to check availability. We were allowed to arrive to check in early which was a great help unlike larger hotels. Our room was delightful, tastefully furnished & large. With a very comfy bed. The bathroom... More

Sue, your house is lovely and I particularly liked it's individuality. The room was very homely and warm but not cluttered. Everything in the room worked and was spotlessly clean. Sue/Christine make sure everything is presented beautifully, even down to the soap dispensers and ketchup bottles!! The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice. Sue was more than... Wonderful stay, staff were very attentive. Really made you feel at home whilst giving you plenty of space to do your own thing. Breakfast was incredible, reason alone to go back! House is a gorgeous building with lots of character and plenty of safe parking if you need. Highly recommend the Edgecote.

The perfect place to stay if you like homely old-style comfort and luxury. The breakfast was superb, plenty of it and many options on the menu. The room was comfortable, quiet and warm and the house was pretty close to the town centre being just a short walk over the river Trent. It was also extemely good value for money... More

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Edgecote. As Sue was on holiday, Christine looked after us extremely well and was very welcoming and thoughtful. Room 12 was comfortable and boasted a lovely view. The breakfasts were to die for! All in all, we had a lovely weekend and I cannot recommend this B&B enough!

We were given a warm and hospitable welcome, coupled with an excellent room which was well furnished and quiet. This hotel is a well priced, well managed and met all our requirements, being spotlessly clean, with easy parking and a first rate traditional English breakfast......We recommend the Edgecote!
