We stayed one night for a family event and were delighted with our choice. Very pleasant rooms, an excellent breakfast with plenty of options, and impressive ethical/sustainability policies in place. Strongly recommended.

Very difficult to find after dark, such a small entrance off a fairly busy road with the signage dwarfed by a for sale board (not for the B&B), but well worth the effort and the difficult approach and parking – certainly not for the novice driver. It is easy to miss the entrance to this bed and breakfast and after you find it, you have to drive up a very steep, winding, bumpy concrete drive with loose stones in places. Stayed at Elm Tree Cottage for one night. Had the best night's sleep ever (away from home!). Super rooms, really fresh and clean and everything to make our stay comfortable. Also a great breakfast next morning. Would certainly stay here again if we are in the area.

We found Elm Tree Cottage with very little difficulty, but found David & Bev wonderful hosts, the room was very clean and confortable - including the bed.
