Just returned from a nice couple of days break and found the place very friendly and a smashing bar with a great fire and atmosphere. We paid £90 per night for a couple and a 5 year old which is about average however we don't think the facilities were up to scratch. I take nothing away from Shiela, Steve and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights last week. The room was very spacious & comfortable with a really good shower. The pub seemed to be very popular with locals - which we like. The breakfasts were amazing - by the 3rd morning we had persuaded the lovely Sheila to serve more normal portions or 'sparrow's breakfasts' in her words !... More

We have just returned from a weekend stay at the Dyke Neuk. Both the food and the room were excellent. We had a family room which ideal as we have a toddler and a baby. We were able to enjoy a night in the pub and restaurant with kids asleep upstairs. The food was excellent and the staff were very... More

just had a bar meal, steak and chips, paid a little over a tenner for it, steak nothing special, chips over cooked (brown) a egg that wasn't yummy and runny, heard such good reports, but was dissappointed, the meal was very average, to be honest, i'v had much better, for a lot less money. on the positive side, had a... Stayed here for 2 nights for a short break and have to say it was just perfect! Our room was lovely with a great view. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Food...where to start. Just lovely. Had lasagne one night and chicken the other. Cooked perfectly. Waited a while longer on the sat night but that was understandable as... More

This homely country pub is very popular - (and welcomes motor cyclists) - so is usually busy but it doesn't stop them serving delicious meals, including full Sunday roasts with lots of delicious freshy carved meat and proper gravy. Vegetarian special available and more extensive menu during the week. Recommended.

Never stayed here as we live not too far away, but we often stop in when passing, for a Bar Meal. Never had anything other than first rate home cooked food with a decent pint and cheerful, friendly service. Best Scampi I've ever had! Incidentally, the Pub Name is quite rude in Dutch as my visiting Flemish Uncle pointed out... More

Called in for a coffee whilst out cycling. The pub was closed but staff were preparing for the day 1 hour before opening time. Nothing was a problem they gladly made me us cafetiere of coffee which was greatly appreciated. Well done for customer service.
