It's very rare that you visit a hotel that ticks all the boxes but this one most certainly does. The accommodation and food are of a high standard and when you factor in the helpful and friendly staff you have all the ingredients of a first class hotel.A very enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel.

From the very friendly welcome to the standard of rooms, food and service everything is five star at this hotel. All the staff are wonderful and cannot do enough to help. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had the pleasure of visiting this fine place for a family lunch. On arrival we were treated like royalty, and nothing was too much for the staff. We convened I. A super stop over - in undiscovered fabulous inn/luxury hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service from very friendly and accomodating staff. Superb food in wondefully appointed surroundings. Thank you for an excellent stay. We will be back !

This was our 3rd visit, always en route to or from Scotland. The hotel is clean and smart with lovely rooms and lovely Molten Brown toiletries and big beds with gorgeous sheets... and super food, nice bar... need I say more?? Upon arrival, the wonderful staff at the hotel made us feel welcomed and informed us of the dinner arrangements. We stayed in the Colossus room on the first floor.
