Amazing location so relaxing and peaceful, the lodges are excellent having just been refurbished to a very high standard. We stayed in lodge three which we thought was in a nice position it had the pond in front which may not be so good if you had children with you.We did some of the suggested walks found in the information pack, also the... Just got back from a family break here 3 nights over the weekend, 6 adults 2 dogs and a 3 year old. There was more than enough room for all of us, everything was perfect we didnt need anything extra. My husband adoreed the log fire and this became his 'toy'. We stayed in Cabin 10 and each had our... More

Just got back from three days staying in Number 9 at Natural Retreats. It was a lovely relaxing break in lovely surroundings but definitely not worth £220 a night. I'm not sure how 6 adults would get on in the cabin as there was only enough space to watch TV comfortably with two people sat on the sofas. The landscape... More

We had 3 nights here over Easter and we had a wonderful time. The lodges are beautiful and very cosy. We were worried that they might be too close together but we had lodge 11 which seemed to largely be on its own and we didn't notice other people at all despite the fact it was obviously very busy over... We choose this accommodation after searching the net. We went with 2 other couples for a 40th birthday celebration. The accommodation was excellent, we couldn't fault it all. The lodge had just been refurbed and was lovely. Very clean everything was brand new! completely self contained, if you've got food and beer there isnt any reason to leave the lodge... More

Stayed during half term week in February. Accommodation was excellent, location really good. Excellent walking country. Amy was extremely helpful with everything and came and introduced herself shortly after we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. A truly relaxing break in beautiful surroundings and very comfortable accommodation.

Upon an early arrival and a subsequent early checkin, only because the room was ready early due to it being quiet. The road into the site was very damaged and the car took a battering, during our stay the management took some action to fill in the worst holes with some hardcore. The lodge (no.8) was very spacious and had... More

Have just come back from a magical weekend at the Yorkshire Dales site. It's such a beautiful location and was covered in a deep carpet of snow but we were toasty warm in our luxury residence. Food hamper is a nice touch and of course the log burner was so cozy. We had loads of fun with the sledges they... More

We planned to stay here last year but the weather meant that we were unable to. The retreat is hidden away in a valley which was impacted by the bad weather, we arranged to go in jan instead - we are so glad that we did. The heavy snow fell the day before but the concierge kept us updated on... More
