Went for an early sunday lunch today, 3 courses for £10, fixed menu though. pate, roast beef and apple pie. good food, good size, great apple pie!! had a bit of a wait between courses, but not too bad.

The food at this pub is a total disgrace .How they can serve both overdone and raw chips on the same plate is beyond me. The fish was grey and looked as if it had been badly defrosted. The place is dark and dingy and not very clean. Avoid at all costs. id at all costs.

A great place for a stop over. The room was comfortable,bright and clean and well provisioned.
