A group of us stayed over one night prior to daughter's wedding. We took five rooms and nobody reported any problems. Personally we found our room warm (great, given the recent cold weather), clean and comfortable. The facilities were more than adequate for the price paid. Staff were cheerful and helpful and more than happy to provide more tea, coffee... More

Stayed here last summer for one night - this place is the dirtiest Travelodge I have stayed in - bathroom was filthy - hair in shower, toilet dirty and a smear on the bathroom wall. As we'd had a long day and needed sleep we ignored the bathroom (but felt we could only use the toilet...); sat on bed to... More

Stayed one night. The staff were polite, the room was adequately clean and not too noisy even though it faced the main road. There was adequate bedding and towels which were all clean. The room was hot on arrival but the radiator was easily switched off. I'd happily stay again.

Where do I begin to describe how terrible it was? Ok here goes, paint peeling off bathroom door (hand painted) towel rail hanging off bathroom wall, and not working. One light only working beside bed, room smelt terrible, furniture stained and torn. Very noisy even with double glazing, the mattress was old and stained and torn, the bathroom tiles were... More

This is the second time I have stayed here - my first experience was pretty awful with very dirty room, rude staff and mould throughout the bathroom. Having said that I wrote and complained to travelodge who assured me how seriously the treated such matters and this was an isolated incident. Travelodge refunded me for this stay in evouchers as... We pulled into this Travelodge and were given a room for one night which cost 67 pounds. When we opened the door to our room we were struck by the smell of dampness. There was mould around the edges of the bath and all around the window which we could not open. There was only one towel in the room... More

I recently checked-in on a Sunday evening for a 3 night stay, which was pre-booked (by my employer). Personally, I wouldn't have booked here myself after reading the previous reviews as I have ususally found that the reviews are a good indicator. I really tried to try to put prejudices aside and be objective, but this was made difficult by... More

This place was absolutely disgusting I cant believe that they charge you to stay there it should be they pay you to stay there it should be knocked down. We walked in to the overwhelming smell of damp which was trying to be disguised by air freshener. My two daughters even said "mummy this place is smelly and dirty". We... More

Was an overnight stay on the way to Southampton. Hotel was easy to find as it was on the side of a dual carriageway, but therefore very noisy. The receptionist was pleasant. However, the room was generally grubby and in general disrepair. I actually checked in the bed to make sure the sheets were clean. Floor had definitely not been... More
