When we got to the room room we instantly found blood splatter on the wall that was still fresh and when we told the front desk the maintenance man came in claiming that is was pasta sauce...really? Where do I start... first was the odor, not sure what it was but it wasn't pleasant. I'm relatively easy going when it comes to hotels. As long as it's clean (and it doesn't have to be spotless) and I feel safe, it's fine. This place was awful. It stunk to high heaven. This hotel is is serious need of renovation-- peeling paint, non-smoking halls that stink of smoke, cob webs in the room, dead palm plants in the lobby.
