The carpet in the hall was a mess, I guess that should have been our first clue. This hotel is in bad need of refurbishment....everything is old and threadbare, room was not dirty but still smelled of smoke and was noisy....I usually have very good luck with Country Inns but not this one....try somewhere else

On the positive side housekeeping did a good job the room was clean. Non smoking hotel but the room smelled like stale cigarrets and dirty feet. Did not have another room for changing.
