Lovely River front accomodation..an ideal weekend away. We have very happy memories of dinner on the large deck, the generous provisions, the bird life, the sounds of the jingling of the stays on the yacht masts and the relaxed and comfortable ambience of the Boathouse.

This is as good as it gets. A private and secluded retreat, yet close enough to all the amenities of Goolwa. The retreat is finished to the highest standards and the pool is the icing on the cake. From the service to the stay......5 stars!!!

My only regret about my recent stay at Birks Harbour Boathouse was that it wasn't long enough. The Boathouse is beautifully appointed with extremely generous provisions and while we were intent in exploring the area, I would have no concerns about being 'rained in' if the weather was inclement. We arrived late afternoon and met friends - a couple of drinks then a relaxing meal. Great night's sleep in an incredible "King sized" bed, with beautifully appointed ensuite bathroom. Sailed for 2 hours - had a great lunch with more friends. Highly recommend the accommodation which is fantastic.
