This was a gem after a long road trip A very clean and quiet motel situate off the main street of Cooktown within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and hotels. Although limited for choices in Cooktown, this motel is well presented with friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

There aren't many choices for you in Cooktown, but this great motel surely is the best. Away from Charlotte Street (main street in town with shops, eateries and pubs) which can sometimes get loud during evenings, yet close enough (a 3-5 minute walk depending on your pace) to be basically next to everything. Great management, very helpful and nice. Rooms are ok, no security screens on windows, shower layout bit ordinary water goes every where. Rooms are clean and tidy. We would stay again next time.

Was here for 1 night for work last april. Not much choice in the city but this place was very welcoming, clean and great breakfast. The owners are so friendly and helpful and make you feel at home.
