Kookaburras in the morning! ......cicadas at night!............well cicadas all day actually! You are in the country here. A lovely spot where you can do as much or as little as you wish. Thanks for your review you were great fun to look after. Christine was playing Phantom of the Opera on the Marimba beautifully last night when we had a fantastic sunset, I was sitting with guests sipping a superb wine to listen. It's a tough job! Please come again. More

Pastoral surroundings, spaciously elegant, modern homestead accommodation with comfortable guest areas. Interestingly furnished with oriental artefacts and a good library. Mine hosts - attentive, friendly and helpful. Nearby there are plenty of sights of interest to keep you occupied or you can stay in and read. “Relaxing and enjoyable break”

We stayed for three nights in October. Breakfasts were really tasty and it was so nice to be able to eat them out on the deck over looking the pool, trees and the mountains. We stayed for two nights mid week, and there was plenty to enjoy. The accommodation itself is stylish yet comfortable. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent, using fresh local produce as much as possible. There is a delightful heated pool and a large library of books and DVDs. “Pleasant stay”

We stayed overnight while visiting the region to do mountain-biking. The room was ready early, very clean and pleasant. The 3-course evening meal and the breakfast were great, and the conversation enjoyable, with our choice of music in the evening. It's very close to Spicers Gap for cycling and walking fans, and 16km from the trails round Boonah.

I cannot say enough good things about Zengarra. The house is beautiful & elegantly furnished. The proprietors are gracious. The meals are fantastic. Chris's music is world class. And the location is great for relaxing or hiking.
