Went to watch football match in Nottingham and didn't want to stay in city centre. This was perfect for us just off motorway, but you would never know it! Very warm welcome from Sarah , the owner, who was great throughout our stay. Lovely bedlinen and as everyone has said wonderful goose down pillows. The weather wasn't wonderful whilst we... More

A very warm welcome by Sarah very friendly. Lovely accommodation, being able to park outside your own door, was brilliant and a god send to not have to carry my sons golf clubs in and out. The bed was soooo comfortable the pillows were like fluffy clouds that you head just sank into had such a lovely night sleep, downside... More

This is a charming guest house run by a delightful woman. I never expect to get a good night's sleep in a strange bed but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself waking up naturally feeling really refreshed. Breakfast had enough variety to suit all tastes. Having your own parking space and front door means you don't feel that you... More

Charming comfortable BnB, with a relaxed personal charm. Comfortable bed, with crisp linen and a cozy duvet. The best nights sleep I've had in absolutely ages, and a cracking Bacon Sarnie for breakfast. Perfection.

We received a warm welcome from the hosts, we were nicely surprised when we found the rooms were seperate from the main house and you had your own front door and we got our car parked right outside. We had a huge bed, ensuite shower room and nice views. We got breakfast at half price for our two night stay... More

We had problems finding the house because the SatNav took us to the wrong Derby Rd - the owners said they knew this happened but don't bother to tell you not to use SatNav. The owners mother greeted us by saying we had been expected earlier and the host had had to go out. We had actually emailed the time... More

My husband and I stayed here when we attended a wedding at nearby Risley Hall. The venue was fully booked so I found Risley Guest house. It was £40 more expensive than the hotel and did not include breakfast. I decided with the good reviews and high end luxury it boasted it would be a worthwhile decision. What a shame.... More

Cosy, clean rooms set in the grounds of the friendly owner's home. Each room has its own front door so there is a real sense of privacy and you aren't on top of other guests. The property is by a road but there was hardly any traffic and we had a great night's sleep. Really comfy beds and pillows.

Wonderful modern accommodation, spotlessly clean with all mod cons. Nicely decorated and nice private feel because of the way the chalet suites/rooms are set out. REally good and thoughtful extras in terms of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and toiletries, right down to cotton wool for make up removal. Fabulous attention to detail. Loved the fluffy blankets - spotless like everything else. Brilliant... More

Travelling around a lot on business this is just the type of place I'm loking for. Friendly & privately owned gives the type of facilities you just can't get in a chain hotel with lots of personal touches. The TV woks fine with a propper working remote (how many don't) great bed linnen with O-so-soft pillows, great free WiFi with... More
