The Compton House is well located in Ashbournpains the parking facility a bonus. Everything in Ashbourne is within easy walking distance and the Tissington Trail only a couple of hundred yards away. The hosts, Jane and David are always willing to assist and make your stay enjoyable, nothing is too much trouble , breakfast fantastic.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I couldn't believe that this was the same B&B that I stayed in. I can only comment on the room that I was allocated and it was not good. Stayed one night in the king size room. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The host was very helpful and she couldnt do enough for us, including doing us a very early breakfast and wheat free bread.
