The updated rooms are spacious, modern, clean with all facilities except good internet connection. The restaurant is well above average, the breakfasts have good choice and ample servings. Staff are helpful and friendly

Just stayed for two nights at the Old Ginn House in Clifton (Workington) Was made to feel very welcome by the staff. The room was first class, very clean, with the all facilities you would expect in a modern hotel. Very well stocked bar with a well kept real ale (Bluebird from Coniston Brewery). Very friendly bar staff. First rate!

Staff excellent ,friendly,versatile "can do" approach. Value for money proven. Rooms need better lighting. Location easily found and within easy reach of local venues. Food is above average pub quality.Whopping portions! Breakfast choice could be wider . Drinks limited ,no ginger beer and very limited wine list.

I have stayed at the Old Ginnhouse around 20 times now. Friendly staff, clean rooms with good food and beer. Great value for money. Some of the older rooms could have done a little TLC but they are now carrying out room renovations. Very good and usually a busy little place. Very good and I will be back soon.
