“Friendly, homely with a warm welcome”

“Getting my mother away - seeing another view rather than the same old 4 walls!”

Mum is 88, soon to be 89. Very active memory and loves conversation. The conversation she thrives upon has been curtailed this year after a fall at Christmas. We are of course very happy that you enjoyed your stay. Obviously we are especially pleased that you enjoyed the fresh eggs from our chickens - we will pass that comment on to them. On a more serious note, we will strive further to produce more of our own food, and have just "commissioned" our new herbal garden. More

Beautifully appointed rooms and bathrooms, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, quiet with a great breakfast and friendly staff. One of the most comfortable hotels i've stayed in in a long while. Highly recommended.

I live locally and was passing yesterday so thought I'd go in for afternoon tea...however a notice on the door informs everyone that the Eden Lodge is now only operating as a B&B and as such is only open to its guests....
