Stayed here with work. Evening meal was edible in parts, beef was rubbish. Breakfast took so long I only had cereal. Good job I am on a diet. If you need to go up there for work, try something else. Had a room next to a main road so not much sleep

dropped in to the ennerdale at cleator for sunday lunch and for £10.00 for 3 courses and it was nice not many in but it was 12 oclock when we where booked in but i will be going back clean and tidy very good value

We have just returned from the Ennerdale on a Superbreaks 2 night deal, where 1st evening meal was included. the food was so good we dined the second night as well. The hotel is old and quirky, but clean and excellent value. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend the walk around Ennerdale Lake!
