We stayed here overnight on our way to Dover. The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. The room, although ready for updating, was spotlessly clean. The village of Fenstanton is two minutes away and has several interesting pubs. We had a delicious meal in one of them.

We stayed here on 12th April 2013 as convenient for family visit, check in was quick and painless given key to room 3 on ground floor, the room was clean but shabby, walls could do with a lick of paint and curtains falling of rail. Bed was comfortable but did not get much sleep due to the heard of elephants... More

Had a one night stay here whilst visiting Cambridge and a good job it was only one night. Have stayed in Travelodge's many times in the past and are quite accustomed as to what to expect, but this one is in need of a complete refit. The bed was like sleeping in a bomb crater with the central area being... More

We stayed here on 7th April due to having to visit a relative in Hitchingbrooke Hospital and it was ideally located for this purpose. Check in was quick and painless...gave name and was given key to room 3. Room was clean and tidy but did look very tired. Lots of scuff marks on all wall areas indicating a lick of... More

I keep hoping that the next Travelodge will be ok. But not this one. Extremely difficult to find - even with SatNav. Poor signing - only found it by spotting the Little Chef. Receptionist great - cheerful etc. Room even had mould/stain on the ceiling. Bathroom similar.Even bed was uncomfortable. Needs complete refurbishment. So disappointing. Thank god for Little Chef... I ate at this establishment last Thursday . Wish I hadn't. It was 5 pm and the palace was quiet. Should have rang alarm bells. After being told to just pick any seat , I waited 20 minutes for attention and a further 20 for my order which I was assured would take 10 minutes, to arrive. The beef and... More

This Travelodge has definitely seen better days! Although the room was tidy and the bed made clean, it was slowly falling apart. The toilet was brown from decay and there was mould all around the bath/shower and floor. There were stains on the chair and carpet, and the walls were missing chunks, dented and severely scratched. A less than bog-standard... More

I want to make clear this review is just about Little Chef. This place is to be avoided at all costs. The service was absolutely dire. The place was a mess, tables were dirty, toilets were terrible. The food was awful. I had steak and ale pie which was dry and hard. I asked for gravy and was told it... More

As with many travelodges, this one has probably seen better days, but is clean and comfortable enough to rest your head whilst on a business trip. I often use travelodges when going long distance to dog shows as they are allowed to stay in most TL's throughout the uk, although they will charge you up to £40 per night if... More
