We stayed "Aux douceurs du passant" for one night and had the most pleasant experience. The rooms were charming with their rustic decor, comfortable and clean. The host were the nicest people, welcoming us warmly and making us feel at home immediately. But the best was the incredible (included) breakfast!! Oh my, I would go back just for the little cheese platter, giving you a test of local Montebello cheeses, with this delicious fig and hazelnut spread.. Omnomnom! They offered a lot of home made goods in their menu and multiples options for breakfast. I would strongly recommend anyone to go there!

Once we arrived, the host has welcomed us with the keys on hand. The hosts were extremely warm, welcoming and sweet. The room although small was comfortable for two people with their luggage. Bathroom was clean and tide. The breakfast was a surprise, as we were eating for almost an hour: we started with a fruit salad or yogurt, followed by a collection of cheese and finished with pancakes or egg Benedict - everything was delicious. There is free parking on the street in front of the hotel. I can not recommend this B&B enough!

We stayed one night, this B&B is in a great location, host are very friendly, breakfast was amazing and we were served on the porch on a beautiful morning. The only big disappointment was our room. I booked a superior queen, the room we got was a very small room, off the kitchen/ dining room and you entered the room through your bathroom. Very uncomfortable! This room is not shown in any pictures. I'm not sure what happened ,but I don't feel we got what we paid for. I would give this 5stars if we had a different room. Make sure to ask about room when booking, I booked through booking.com next time I'd call owners personally.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aux Douceurs Du Passant. The hosts were extremely welcoming, warm and sweet. The room was very well kept and clean. The food was the best part - especially the benedict, extremely tasty! All the hot spots were within minutes of walking and Parc Omega was only a 5 minute drive away. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and could not recommend this B&B enough!

We were welcomed by the nice owner who took us to our room and showed everything. Very classic old town. It looks older than any place you see in France. Quebec is a distant memory to what is considered Europe. Interesting! The whole town has similar houses to this. Nice walks, little sea-side promenade, an animal park are th things you can do. We had a nice breakfast the next morning. It was a very positive experience.

We had breakfast on the verandah of this B & B. We weren't staying there but had scouted it out the day before. They were very busy and we felt a little ignored at first but soon we had coffees and menus. I was happy to see many "1 egg" choices and ordered that in Egg Benedict. My husband ordered a traditional eggs and sausage meal. We were presented with 3 types of homemade jam in little pots My breakfast was fabulous and came with a huge fruit salad and a small potato with bacon bits. I begged some of my husband's toast so I could taste the jam. It was s lovely meal with friendly service and good prices.

This was the best bed and breakfast ever! The owners were so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was amazing and they also offered a gluten-free option. The rooms were clean, spacious and well kept. The owners also provided advice for what to do and were available to help at all hours.

Nice, cute little B&B on Main Street in Montebello, we came for breakfast and enjoyed it totally, different sausages, homemade jams, good crepes, pleasant presentations. We definitely will come back and try different items from the large breakfast menu.

We have just come back from an overnight stay at Les douceurs du passant in Montebello and couldn't be happier. We had planned a cycling trip in the Petite-Nation area with friends who were meeting us from Montreal. Montebello was the perfect location, half-way between Gatineau and Montreal and Les douceurs du passant was the perfect B&B. The hosts, Johanne and Jacques are welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. Given our rooms weren't ready when we arrived, we decided to go on our cycling trip and come back at the end of the afternoon. When we got back to the B&B our rooms were ready and cool -- it was a very hot day. Johanne showed us around and even made a reservation at a very nice local restaurant for us. She also invited us on the veranda; letting us know that we were welcome to enjoy our cocktails there before going out for dinner. Our room, the Caffè Latte, was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Our friends' room, the Espresso, was also very nice. Everything was lovely. Breakfast the next morning, which was included with our stay, was absolutely wonderful. A cheese platter made of local cheeses and homemade compote, eggs benedict (there is a wide selection) and a lovely fruit salad for dessert. All topped with specialty coffee and juice. We ate outside on the veranda given the beautiful weather. This B&B is cyclist friendly with the opportunity to lock up bikes in the shed in the back at night. Also, because they were very busy that Sunday, we were able to depart later than 1 pm from our room which was wonderful for us, as it enabled us to bike longer Sunday. This B&B offers great value for money. We will go back.
