On my May stopover, Blair House and owners David and Judy Whittingham completely changed my initial assessment that St. Stephen's didn't have much to offer. The lovely house, David's advice on local dining and Judy's on local hiking made for a wonderful final evening in Canada on my most recent vacation in New Brunswick. The historic house is very comfortable... More

This home was built for Henrietta Blair, the granddaughter of one of the founding fathers of St Stephen. It is elegant and palatial with well kept gardens in a quiet residential area. Our bedroom was clean and spacious with a separate bathroom. There were several public rooms on the ground floor. There was a choice of two breakfast menus and... More

We stayed at Blair House over the Saint Patricks Day weekend. What a beautiful and inviting place! Daivd and Judy made us feel so welcome and the morning breakfast was delicious! The best B&B I have ever had the pleasure to stay in.

Had a wonderful time at the Blair House B & B. A family group of eight of us travelled from Halifax, Nova Scotia to St. Stephen, NB to visit family. We heard about this B & B from friends, looked it up on the computer and booked four rooms. It was a wonderful experience - comfortable lodging, excellent breakfast and the some of the best and friendliest service I've ever experienced.... More

I had the pleasure of spending one night at the Blair House. I would have stayed longer, but all rooms were booked. I’ve stayed at many B&Bs and even operated one that received many, many positive comments from our guests. The Blair House is definitely one of the best and brought back fond memories. David made me feel right at... More

We travelled across the border from Maine in to St Stephen NB and found this little gem. Great place to stay, wonderful host, great breakfast , comfortable room. Reasonable rates. Clean. Although the house was great, the area wasn't so nice. Best place to eat within walking distance was The Bistro, quite pricey though.

The innkeeper, David, was polite, professional and very accommodating, as we arrived fairly late in the evening, especially considering that they're an hour later than Eastern Standard Time, where we came from. They serve tea and cookies in the evening and we enjoyed that in a nice sitting room. The room was not opulent, but it was very comfortable. I... More

This is a place that will make you feel pampered. We were warmly welcomed, The service is friendly and genuinely refreshing; our room very comfortable; the breakfast amazing and the decaf tea and cookies in the evening is an excellent touch.
