Spent a great week end at this great old historic property. Loved the history and the proximity to Old Salem. The bed was in a loft walk up and was cozy. Checked in on a Friday night and there was only one guy at the front desk to answering the phone, checking in guests and answering guest questions. If you're OK with a basic room, then stay at this historic property with decent "bones" and charm, yet for $51 a night, I had a soft bed, and the shower grout was clean, but could have used a scrub brush and some bleach. Nice non-chain hotel in downtown area near Old Salem and some good restaurants. Interesting rehab of cotton mill. Our king suite was large with bedroom area on separate level. Could easily accommodate small family. Fun renovation to see. Would stay there again and recommend to others. More
