Our entire stay was shrouded by fog. We had a trecherous treck up the mountain to the inn, missed the signage to enter the property due to the fog. Since our stay in May 2012 the rooms have been updated: new fixtures in the bathroom, new flooring, lighter colors (paint? drapes?), new balcony furniture . . . all in all, good improvements. We are checking out this morning. The hotel is an old, rustic hotel that needs updating. That said, the staff is very nice and helpful. The view from each room is the best! We requested a second floor room for more height on the view, however a family might like the ground floor for safety with kids on the balcony. No pets, no smoking and no smoking pets - love that policy! Rooms are modestly furnished, but comfortable. $135 on weekends includes a generous breakfast.... More
