We stayed 3 nights at the Sylva inn and enjoyed it. However, not once did a maid enter our room during the entire stay. Rooms were very nice...hotel is clean...staff VERY friendly and helpful. Lobby very comfortable...met several friends there who waited in the lobby and enjoyed the hotels free WiFi. While it appears the hotel was completley booked for the weekend I didn't hear a sound while in my room...I will definitely stay there again when I am in the Cullowhee/Sylva area.

This is an older hotel that used to be a national chain. Now independent and better than it was the last time we stayed here under the chain name. We frequent this hotel while visiting our son at Western Carolina University. Great location,,close to WCU and just a short drive to Cherokee, NC. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast, comfy beds, and quiet atmosphere.

We worked in Sylva and used the Sylva Inn because of the pricing. We were thrilled with the quality of the rooms. They were clean and very well kept. We would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay in this area. We will definitely be using again.
