Stayed overnight on a journey south - warm welcome, great rate, very clean, quiet, and right off I95 so very handy. Good little gym - and of course the warm cookie! Doubletree really is a great middle of the road chain.

Stopped here on my way to the Outer Banks from the Raleigh Durham airport. It is right off the highway so location is great. Rooms are comfortable and the price was reasonable. And then there is the tasty chocolate chip cookie when you arrive!

We came into this hotel unexpectedly. We were met by an incredibly wonderful woman at the front desk, Thelma Wilson. She helped us then as well as being sympathetic to our situation. I stayed at the DoubleTree for a weekend during the Triple Crown Baseball tournament. I had a great stay, the rooms were clean and the staff was knowledgable about the weekends events. I had a great experience at the Texas Steak House which was located on the ground level.

The hotel abides by the HHonors policy to offer free (continantal or not) breakfast to Gold and Diamond members. That is not the case - the hotel hands guests a voucher worth $10 - and redeemable at a poorly serviced "restaurant" ("Texas-something"). We came for a wedding and directed 50 of our friends and family to this hotel. Everyone had a great time. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable - and the Texas Steak House delivered to the room and let us charge it to our hotel bill. Very convenient. We came to Rocky Mount for a wedding and were very pleased with the facilities. We really enjoyed not having Texas Steak House right down stairs. Breakfast was awesome and of course dinner was great too. We'll be back!

Great stay. Staff was friendly, pleasant and very helpful. Room was clean and nice. Restaurant was very convenient and nice. Had dinner and breakfast; both were excellent and priced right. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
