Loved our room. Breakfast was outstanding both days we stayed, two thumbs up on the coffee. The Thurston House is located right in the middle of everything. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Ocracoke.

Love this place! The room was charming and spotless! Comfy bed, flatfoot tub, heart pine floors, outdoor showers, great deck and close to the harbor and restaurants! No need for a car, you can cycle everywhere! The breakfast, cooked by the sisters with mom was outstanding! Sweet potato pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit, award winning fig cake! It was perfect !

The Thurston House Inn is in a good location within easy walking distance of lots of restaurant and shops. Breakfast was excellent each morning. I will definitely be staying here next time I come to Ocracoke.

First the mitigating factors - it was early season and the owner had been called away on jury service.
