“Beautiful river views”

I've stayed here three times, all for business conferences. There are gorgeous, expansive views of the Trent and Neuse rivers. My room was $109 plus tax...a comfortable bed and the usual other stuff in the room. “A Study in Decay”

This hotel is in desperate need of an overhaul. The blinds and styling of the room suggested the last renovation was in the late 1960's/early 70's. Access to the upper levels was extremely slow and limited. Breakfast staff appeared overwhelmed and unable to support the flow of traffic through the restaurant. “Anniversary”

Excellent. This is a wonderful hotel and location, with excellent staff. If you go to New Bern, N.C. This is a wonderful hotel and as far as i am concerned, it is the only hotel. I am looking forward to the next visit. It is very difficult to have to pack to go home after staying here.

“Solid hotel with fabulous location on water and near walking, bike trails and downtown”

The nasty reviews are just not right. The place is great...solid. Not 5 star but solid. Good pool, bar, lobby, parking. Rooms are totally fine. Left a toilet kit, and they kept it until we returned. Would happily stay there again.

“Nice location. Hotel & rooms need some work”

Multiple chips in bathtub. Hallway carpet needs replacing. Loud music/pool party till 10pm at night. Had to call again at 10:30 and they said they would turn the "jukebox" down. Parking is terrible. People doubleparked and parking where there weren't official parking lot spots. Nice location with great view of pier and lots of nice boats.
