I've been to this site a couple of times with people who own/lease their space. The overall area is very well kept and maintained with a great pool for the kids. I've enjoyed going there several times over the past 2 summers and haven't been disappointed yet. It is nice & quiet during the week.

While we normally avoid private campgrounds when camping, the location of Daniel Boone Family Campground is convenient to Lake James State Park and hiking at Table Rock. Their website indicated 10 tent sites; there were 6. We were assigned to one site that had a rotten picnic table, then made to move to a different site with no picnic table.... More

We just bought a camper on a site there. Daniel Boone also has nightly rentals of campsites and cabins. We spent labor day weekend at Daniel Boone. Great family atmosphere.
