Overall a good spot, but those BEDS...ughh. Feels like your sleeping on 2 boxsprings :( Location is great. Kitchenette is nice. Courteous and helpful staff. Just bring an extra comforter to pad the beds. That's what I'll do if I come back :)

Just got back from a 4 night stay at South Wind. Stayed in an ocean front efficiency. Room was very clean and received clean towels everyday. We have stayed here in the past and would definitely stay on all our trips to Kure Beach. The staff was very pleasant and we enjoyed talking to them. Would highly recommend this motel.
