If you’re looking for a place to get away this is it! Marti (the owner) will even tell you that there isn’t much in Grover, NC….so where else to go, slow down, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. With a short hour/hour and half ride from the Queen City this B&B is a wonderfully charming place... More

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at the Inn of the Patriots. This was our first B&B experience and we were a little hesitant at first, not knowing what to expect. It definitely met our expectations and more. The Inn owners were fascinating, with great stories and trivia about American presidents. One of them worked as a... More

We stayed at the Inn April 19-21st for my birthday weekend and our anniversary of getting engaged. We had a simply wonderful experience! Chef Marti and Chef Stormy were more than hospitable and their daughter is just adorable...a future chef in the making! We were greeted by Chef Stormy who took us on a tour of the home and gave... Undoubtedly the name of this bed and breakfast was chosen to inspire guests and illustrate the driving force of its owners. The husband and wife team email guests with messages with the Inn’s professional tri-corner hat Patriot image before as well as after the visit, and often also include their photos and credit logos: Fox News, CNN, etc. So, hyped... There was absolutely nothing impressive about this b & b. I am still curious...but not enough to ask...what the two owners military disability is. They appear to be perfectly healthy to us and yet they harp in all of their printed materials about their military disability. I felt that this is a HUGE disservice to truly disasbled military individuals. There... More

My wife and I just returned from a great 2-night stay at this B&B, and we have nothing but good things to say about Marti, Stormie, Kim, and the house. This is an almost 150 year old home, so things are a little different (small bathrooms, for one) than in most McMansions...and that was something we enjoyed. We stayed in... More

My wife and I took advantage of a Living Social special and spent a weekend at the Inn of the Patriots. The home was constructed in 1879 and has been mostly renovated. It is a pretty place filled with an avalanche of memorabilia, mostly from Chef Marti's days in the military and his service at Camp David and the White... More

A one-night stay was given to us as a gift and was our first stay in a B&B. We were very disappointed because of the way the Inn was advertised. We had an upstairs room with a shared bathroom in the hall that was the size of a long closet. The room was good sized but the floor, shelves, desk and... More

We stayed at the Inn of the Patriots on the weekend of October 5-7, 2012. My husband and I enjoyed our weekend and would definitely return. First let me say that the owners are veterans of our US Navy. I am proud to be able to help them further this business in any way I can. They have renovated an... More

My wife and I stayed here and it was a great experience! This is a great Inn with rates that are cheaper than going to a hotel! The house is beautiful and wonderfully kept. It was great experience to see the Presidential Culinary Museum and to be cooked for and served by a Presidential Chef Martin Mongiello! We had three... More
