This property started life as something other than a Marriott. The clue was the exterior entrances to every room. My room was near the swimming pool and at 12:30 a.m., there was still a lot of noise outside. The room was more like a Motel 6 than a Marriott.

Stayed here for business for a few nights and was pleasantly surprised. It is an older property with doors that open up to the outside. Once inside the room it was pretty nice for a Fairfield Inn. The rooms have been recently renovated and the staff is outstanding. Will stay here again.

This place was Marriott in name only. I think it was a refurbished motel with only one floor having interior rooms. Not impressed and checked out after one night. I moved to a newer hotel up the street. The staff was friendly and helpful but sadly, it didn't make up for a poor property.

The staff here were friendly, but the hotel is set up like a motel, with the doors outside. The rooms are also quite small. We were in town for a grandkids event. Very good staff. Decent breakfast. Lobby small. Elevator outside, but security felt fine. Plenty of places to eat. Mall right beside hotel; close to Ft Bragg. Fayetteville has the worst traffic we've seen in town of it's size and traffic control is a nightmare.

This is an older property, appears to be a converted older property. All the staff was great or the rating would be down 1 notch. I have stayed at this hotel a total of 3 times. The first was less then desirable the second was excellent, the third, not so much. It appears that as a Platinum Member I get nicer rooms, which was the case of my second visit. That was actually nice. However on my other stays I was in a standard room.... More

From start to finish our entire trip was awesome. I read the previous reviews and my husband and I didn't experience anything near what others wrote. We had no issues with the room or check-in. Bogus charges on my credit card. For items "taken" that were never supplied to the room in the first place. Aweful customer service when trying to handle the matter professionally and expeditiously.
