My wife and I stayed two nights here. The hotel was very good - comfortable and kept up well. Very quiet, despite the presence of two wedding parties. We heard a little commotion out in the hall once late at night, but otherwise it was fine. I had lunch in the restaurant - a Greek salad and glass of wine.... More

We are so pleased to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your stay and dining experience with us. I owe them more than my middle of the night review, but, oh well..We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! And I want to advise all hotels to be sure that their front desk is as welcoming as this one. Jahmed and everyone else were welcoming and professional. The mood was set... We had a wonderful night--even 'tho we... More

I've literally had my breakfast there today, with my friends. We were planning to have a great bfast there b4 shopping to spoil ourselves a bit as it's my birthday today (every occasion is good to have nice Sunday, isn't it?) First we went in, I thought it was a bit dark inside. No music background as well. The host... More

Thank you very much for sharing your comments and concerns with us. We were very disappointed to learn of your breakfast experience this past weekend in our restaurant. We definitely do not want this to be your lasting impression of our Hotel or service, and would like to make it right for you and your guests. I have emailed you... More

Close to Duke with plenty of space to explore the city. Close to the minor league stadium, restaurants and bars. More

I stayed at the DMCC for our Sorority's Founders Day celebration. Our group was the largest they ever hosted in the hotel. Needless to say...NO ISSUES! For a group of roughly 1,000 attendees, the Marriott staff did a phenomenal job hosting the event from the room preparation for the luncheon to the ease of valet service. The hotel shuttle gave... We got a room at this hotel for the night of a Duke game and it was a great stay. It's a standard Marriott experience. It's walkable to a 1 block area called brightleaf square which has some good restaurants. It's about 2.5 miles to duke but I wouldn't walk through the areas you go through. The only thing we... More

The staff is helpful when asked for advice. The hotel facilities include a gym which is rather small but there is a YMCA across the street at no cost for guests. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Though my room did not include a minibar or safe. Breakfast service is decent. Hotel shuttle takes you to places that are nearby (ie.... More

The hotel is located downtown. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. It is attached to a convention center and close to a music theatre. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The workout room was a bit small with only a set of free weights for those who want to actually do some lifting. The concierge lounge... More

I've been staying here for years and have never really been disappointed. The service is very good and I always feel like it's a good value. The only downside is that the public areas and the rooms could use a facelift. The rooms are comfortable, but average at this point. Try to score a corner room is you can. More

This hotel is trying very hard to be more than just an average three and a half stars, and I think they succeed above and beyond. I arrived after a very trying flight that had been delayed three hours. When I finally arrived at the Marriott I was in a bad mood, to say the least. However, the staff was so... More
