I have now stayed here more than 5 times. The staff has been consistently courteous and helpful. Facility is clean, the Bistro service is good and the exercise room is well maintained. It is right next to I-85 and there are decent Italian and Chinese restaurants right next door.

The location is excellent for a visit to Duke University. The front desk staff was excellent and very informative. There are a couple of nice Italian restaurants within walking distance which was helpful after the long drive to Durham. The room was clean and well-supplied. Would stay there if I have to go to Durham again.

I recently stayed here for business and attended a local concert in town. The location is great and is in easy walking distance to local favorite restaurants, and is not far at all from the local airport. The hotel also has a nice bar and restaurant area in the lobby.

Marriott does it right. Not too complicated. Provide a large room and keep things fresh and clean. Which they do. Will stay again next time through Durham. Friendly folks, too. Not much more to say but 200 characters are my minimum.
