Stayed here 1/1/2 years ago and had a pleasant experience. However, the recent stay was extremely disappointing. Room in very worn condition. No maid service on Mothers' Day - NONE! Dirty towel on back of bathroom door (upon arrival the Friday prior) and no shampoo, cream rinse and lotion supplied. Light bulbs out...the list goes on.

Stayed here once before and it was wonderful. That was 3 years ago. This time, it was a great disappointment. Bathroom fixtures broken, room too cold, floor had gaps and you could see foundation of the building, lay out of room was awkward.

If you are traveling to Charlotte or Davidson, North Carolina, plan your stay at the Homewood Suites. To me it is important that a hotel be clean, quiet and the staff courteous and this hotel is all that and more. The suite was nicely furnished. The food was good. Stayed a night here with family and really enjoyed it. The hotel was very clean and decorated nicely. We stayed during the week and had the complimentary dinner. Our suite was spotless and the beds were comfy. We utilized the little kitchen and both TVs. The workout room was sufficient, but could have used more weight options and a water cooler. The main reason this hotel doesn't get a 5 is because the indoor pool was pretty frosty and too cold for anything but a few quick laps.... More

The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help any way they can. Hotel is what you expect from a Hilton chain and then some. Will definitely use for any trips to the Charlotte area. Great decor, awesome rooms, wonderful beds and the breakfast was plentiful hot and tasty. Very nice! Will stay again and recommend to others! Also this hotel is walking distance to some a really cute area of Davidson with restaurants and shops close by.

The first room they had me in faced the street and was very noisy with street traffic - couldn't sleep at all. But they moved me to a second room the next day that was totally quiet and I slept great the rest of my time there. Nice enough exercise room and nice breakfast spread.
