Cape Hatteras B & B was a wonderful experience for first timers at a B & B. The house is very relaxed. All the rooms have a private entrance which is nice. Virginia and Jed were very hospitable. They are very knowledgable about the area and gave suggestions for local restaurants and places of interest. Breakfast was great....a good variety.... More

A huge thank you to Virginia and Jed for being fantastic hosts to us for our stay. The Bed and Breakfast is absolutely adorable...we stayed in Emily and the room was perfect for my husband and I. We were blown away by the breakfast made by Virginia each morning...especially the egg BLT! It was so nice to have beach chairs... More

Wife and I celebrated a quick weekend getaway for our 5th wedding anniversary. We stayed in 'Andrew' but I think you will be happy with which ever room you pick. I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts on the east coast- they make memorable excursions! This one was honestly the best one we have stayed at for the following... More

We love this B&B!!! We have been 3 times, and have always had the best experience... from food to location to amenities to seeing Jed and Virginia, who have become dear friends. The B&B is a block from the beach... just a short walk. The rooms all have private entrances and bathrooms which is a bonus. They also have bikes... More

We could not have chosen a better place to stay than Cape Hatteras B&B for our time in the outer banks. Our hosts Virginia and Jed greeted us upon arrival with a warm welcome and some useful information to make the best of our first time experience in the region. The accommodations were peaceful and comfortable. Beach gear was available... More

I had been to the Outer Banks several times over the years but never further south than Pea Island surfing. My fiance had a birthday back in February so as a gift, I booked a bed and breakfast. February not being the best time of year weather-wise, I called to see about changing it to April. One of the owners,... More

I had never before stayed in a B&B, so I didn't really know what to expect, but I was very pleased with the results. The exterior is fantastic and just a few blocks from the beach. The room itself was a little smaller than a standard hotel room, but the furnishings were very, very nice and we had a wonderful... More

Jed and Virginia are great hosts! We want to thank them for a great place to stay during our trip to The Outer Banks. The rooms were very nicely decorated and felt personal as opposed to the boring cookie cutter hotel rooms. Access to activities in the Southern part of Outer Banks was easy to get to from the B&B.... We spent a very relaxing weekend at the B&B while we were on Cape Hatteras for a wedding. Jed and Virginia, as others have mentioned, are very good hosts. My husband had an internet issue on our first day there, and they immediately worked to resolve it. Virginia's breakfasts are delectable--I had the quiche (2x) and a special croque monsieur... More
