Do take the opportunity to spend some time at this Bed & Breakfast nestled in the rolling hills of Appalachia. One is refreshed by cool mountain breezes and the joyful chirping of an assortment of colorful birds. Time spent here is most relaxing. Innkeepers Gil and Cindy Geiger are most accommodating and offer genuine hospitality to one and all. In... More

My husband was taking a class at the folk school and we decided to stay here as opposed to on the campus. What a great decision!!! It was like we were saying with family and was especially nice that they opened a little early for us. The breakfasts were really delicious each morning and very satisfying. Also, the location is... Gill and Cindy will make you feel like you truly are on vacation. This is a great place to stay. Very good home cook food. It is very clean and has a nice rustic cabin feel to it. You will not be disappointed. Thanks John and Karen

Darla and I had the extreme pleasure to experience the Gray Wolf Mountain Inn B&B on May 21 and 22. From the moment we arrived we had a warm feeling within our hearts that this was a special place. That feeling never left us and was replaced with sadness when on the day we left with a hug from Gil... More

Gil and Cindy run a wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are nice and clean, the food is delicious, and they even shuttle you into town if need be. Great place to stay.

Gil and Cindy Geiger made us feel at home. Breakfast of scrambeled egss taco with a bean salsa was awesome. Our room, the bear room, was very comfortable and clean. The home was very comfortable, clean and decorated with appropriate rustic decor. Would not hesitate to return. Took a 1 day drive to asheville, nc. What a great town and... More

My wife and a friend enrolled at the John C Campbell Folk Art School. They decided on the Gray Wolf Mountain Inn. We arrived Friday afternoon and were greeted by Innkeepers Gil and Cindy Geiger. They are so warm and welcoming that we immediately became family. In addition to our two couples there were three other couples staying there. The... More

I stayed at the inn for a week when I was attending the John Campbell Folk School. The rooms were lovely and very clean. Cindy and Gil are a delight and very accommadating. I asked if I could have several friends over for wine on the beautiful deck out front and they couldn't have been nicer. Breakfast was great and... More

5 stars is reserved for those places where we can't think of anything to suggest to make a place better. It doesn't mean that it is a palatial mansion with servants at your beck and call. But, a B&B is not suppose to be ranked like a resort. That's where some reviewers lose their credibility, in my opinion. This is... More

We stayed at the Gray Wolf Mountain Inn while looking for vacation properties around the Murphy, NC area. The setting is very relaxing, far enough away from Murphy to be out in the country, but still only a short drive back to civilization. We had a wonderful time relaxing and having breakfast on the deck, enjoying the view. The rooms... More
