we needed a last minute place to stay for a night at the beach, the Atlantic Coast was an acceptable beach motel. Nothing fancy, short walk across the highway to the beach. The rooms are very barebones. They rooms are clean which is great, but the rooms are very dated; many coats of paint; old bedspreads, thin, well-worn towels. Great location and very clean! Price was very right. Our room size was good but the beds were a little small. The pool was nice but longer hours would have been better. Staff was very nice and very helpful. We would stay there again for a weekend "getaway".
