This was our very first bed and breakfast experience and it was excellent. Yvonne and Becky's attention to detail was superb. The rooms were authentically decorated but also had every modern convenience, including wireless internet access. The home and guest rooms were immaculate. Breakfast included juice, fresh fruit, home baked pastries(delicious) , egg souffle one day and cheese blinzes the next... More

We just returned from Halcyon Place in the southwestern Finger Lakes and would go back in an instant! Will go back. The house beautifully and authentically reflects its 1830's origins and is 21st century comfortable and convenient with chairs you can curl up in to read for hours and wireless access if you so desire. Subtly fragrant bunches of herbal... More

A beautiful house set in wonderful and quiet surroundings. Our host, Yvonne, welcomed us with tea and homemade biscuits. The room was perfect; beautiful antique furniture, clean and elegant. Yvonne's breakfast was the best of a two week roadtrip! Omelette with homegrown herbs and goats cheese, fruit and homemade scones. The attention to detail is second to none. We are... More

B&B's can be hit or miss....and this was a hit. A charming Greek revival home with antiques and lovely grounds. Yvonne (your innkeeper) is attentive and gracious in all that she does. Attention to detail comes right down to a memorable candlelit breakfast! And what a breakfast it was. If you are anywhere near the Finger Lakes, figure on making... More

From the time you pull into the drive-way, you feel like you're "home". You are greeted by Yvonne, the owner and inn-keeper, with a huge smile and a welcoming suggestion of a glass of wine or tea? You can then go to your room, which I must say are very beautifully decorated, not to mention comfortable. The grounds are quaint,... More

We stayed overnight while visiting the Corning Museum of Glass. What a great choice. The Inn is impeccable -- clean, attractive and welcoming. Comfortable beds. We stayed in the room overlooking the garden and it was roomy with plenty of light to read, a reading chair and large bed. Bathroom was large and well equipped. Good shower. The inn is... More

We stayed at Halcyon with our 12-yr old daughters on route to Niagara. Owner/host Yvonne is very welcoming and has an eye for detail, not to mention she's a great chef! The Inn is beautifully furnished with period furniture and is updated tastefully with modern conveniences. The breakfasts were the best meals we had in the Finger Lakes: orange-pecan french... More
