The room was clean, new linens, modern, private. The owner was gracious, gave good advice as how to tour the wineries. Breakfast was good. Had a short drive to downtown Watkins Glen and to be able to view the lake. Nice deck at main house to sit out on in the evening. Still for sale, not very busy.
Vera, the owner, is a a real gem, and the breakfasts are wonderful. We stayed in the cathedral ceiling rooms that we off the main house. We have a feeling that we may have preferred the rooms in the main house. The property is currently for sale, so who knows if it will be a B&B in the future? The...
