I've visited Cooperstown every Memorial day weekend for the past 28 years, all of them at Fieldstone Farm, which kind of says it all. Theres no other place up there i would even consider. The owner treats you like family, the place is beautiful, its the perfect place to get away from the stress of living in NYC. And yes,... More

A review based solely on the actual resort and not on emotions tied to over 20 years of family retreats results in an only average rating. The resort is accommodating to families but provides limited activities. There is great fun fishing in the lake or outdoor activities on the hilly fields but that’s about where it ends. This is not... More

We have come to Fieldstone farm in the fall for 20yrs now. We always stay in a cabin on the hill to get the most beautiful views of the farms and woodlands that surround Fieldstone. It's so very peaceful. We encourage friends and family to join us every year. Many of which are hooked too.

Our family just returned from our wonderful stay at Fieldstone Farm. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by John, the owner. We were looking forward to meeting John from the moment we spoke to him on the phone and made our reservation with him. When we drove up to Fieldstone we immediately were taken with the beauty of this resort!... More

We have been going to the Fieldstone Farm since 1997 when our son was young. We now bring our adult son and granddaughter here. It is a wonderful place for families to have fun. Swimming, hiking, fishing etc. There is a game room to gather during the day or evening so you have someplace to go to on a rainy... More

We stayed at Fieldstone Farm two weeks ago and what a good time we had! The cabin was very clean and with four small children it was wonderful to be able to cook in our own place rather than having to go out for every meal. We played bocce and board games we borrowed from the office and fooseball and... More

I’m a long-time visitor to Fieldstone Farm and wouldn’t miss my annual trip there for anything. My friends and I treasure this time in a rural setting so different from the hustle and bustle of city life. We love our long walks past dairy farms, rustic barns, and fields of wildflowers; going to lawn sales; paddlle-boating on the pond; swimming,... More

Once a year my friends and I pack up the car, head for Fieldstone Farm, leave the iPads and iPods at home, and prepare ourselves to unwind and experience the pleasures of the simple country life. There’s no air conditioning, but the FRESH air is as clean and sweet as it comes. We stop for food supplies at Price Chopper... More

My sons team stayed at the Fieldstone Farm property last Summer during our sons trip to Cooperstown. This was a great location and a great property. We pretty much rented out the whole facility and it was so quaint and they bent over backwards to make us comfortable. This is a perfect location for baseball families going to Cooperstown!

My husband and I stayed at Fieldstone while attending the Glimmerglass Opera; I think this was our fifth visit, and we hope to go back many times. The farm sits in a beautiful upland, with sweeping views of some of the prettiest farming country in the east. The lodgings come in two varieties: rooms in a rambling motel-like building attached...
