Stayed for 3 nights in November 2011. The check in was very quick. The parking is free.
The room we got had a very strong odor and we thought we were given a smoking room. Turned out the room wasn't a smoking room, but the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't change rooms. The mattresses are worn, the pillows...

Stayed for 1 night in November 2011 ($100). Check-in was super fast, elevator was crazy slow, parking is free which is great. I booked a week in advance and asked for king size bed but didn't get it because apparently the 7th floor has most king sizes and it was being renovated. So we got 2 queens.
Room is nice,...

Just stayed 2 nights over Veteran's Day. Clean, basic room, great location about 2 blocks from Falls, across road from Seneca casino, staff were very nice/friendly. Although we did not go in it, the pool looked very nice and clean (you could smell the chlorine!) and water was circulating. Had a view of the Falls/Canada and we were able to...

My husband and I stayed here recently. I was on business and the rooms at the Sheraton were $249/nt which was beyond my budget. We stayed 3 nts for less than that.
The experience was very pleasant. Staff were very attentive, room was clean and comfortable. We had asked for extra pillows and they were in the room when we...

Great location in easy walking to the falls. Room wasnt bad, but shower was broken, fridge not on, coffee maker leaky....... The hallways were filthy, but there were signs up that they were planning a public area remodel. We ate in hotel restaurant and the food was pretty good with good service. Good thing too as the majority of the...

The hotel is well within walking distance to the attraction (the Falls) and the various tours you can take. Little food variety is near the falls. Better choice of mom and pop/ family run restaurants that are very good are located off Pine Ave (Michaels Restaurant). The hotel is old and shows it. The hallway carpet has more waves in...

We stayed 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Nigara Falls. The hotel overall wasn't bad, the best part is that there are hardwood floors in the rooms which make it feel much cleaner. There was a sign in the elevator that they are remodeling the halls in October and let me tell you they needed it!! They are way outdated...

Positives:
Close to Niagara Falls (US side)
Reasonably good value for the rooms we had
Free parking
Free Sunday paper/weekday papers
Walking distance for many things
Serious complaints:
Desk staff did not seem to know much and/or gave totally wrong information. (Example: we asked about the trolleys driving by the hotel. I was told that they were free and ran...
