Clean, comfortable, convenient (the E and 7 lines both stop within easy walking distance), and much less expensive than staying in Manhattan, the Verve has become my hotel of choice for my frequent business trips to New York. Great hotel, clean, quiet, the staff is very nice. Easy subway ride to midtown. Breakfast is good. They have a deck where you can sit and relax in the summer. Most hotels in NYC have no outdoor areas.
